According to a release carried by Renault, Dacia sales grew by 20.3% YoY to 153,826 cars in H1 of 2009 as compared to 127,842 cars in the same period of 2008.

Dacia increase market share in Romania by 2.5% YoY in the first half of the year on a market which went down 53.7%. On some markets, Dacia reported very good financial results, due to the rise in sales of Sandero model.

In Europe, Dacia sales grew in H1 by 95.8% YoY to 101,810 cars as compared to 52,005 cars in the same period of the previous year and Logan sales reporting in Germany, up by 83.1% YoY.

In Euromed regions and Eurasia, Dacia sales reported a 29.3% YoY shrinkage and a 66.2% YoY growth respectively over January to June 2009 period. However, Dacia sales grew by 19.9% YoY in Morocco and 56.3% in Algeria.
