Danieli Corus has received an order from Ternium Siderar for services, site services and blow in services using the proprietary oxy fuel lance technology for the No 2 blast furnace at the San Nicolas de las Arroyos plant in Argentina.

The furnace will undergo a repair in mid-2012 and the above mentioned services will be executed in this period. The scope of the order includes the design of the furnace tap holes, site services for assistance during blow down, salamander tapping and blow in and further assistance during start up and production ramp up.
