Danieli Group has decided to establish a new business unit, Danieli Linz Technology, in line with the group's policy of increasing our potential in all steel production technologies. The new entity will deal with the steel production with oxygen converters.

Danieli will expand its Danieli Centro Met business unit to include BOF steelmaking technology in order to serve the market with the full range of iron steel making and rolling facilities, from the Blast Furnace to the final rolled product, from a single source.

DLT is comprised of senior, highly experienced specialists in the BOF process and technology and will be able to offer the optimal process strategies to the market.

Together with the vast experience of Danieli Corus in Ijmuiden, DLT will be in the position to offer the metallurgical iron making market the full range of BOF technologies with a high level of competence.

Based on the combined, strong experience of the two teams and together with the DANIELI R&D Division, innovative features have already been developed, aimed at reaching the specific target of a free maintenance concept, with the promise of lower CAPEX and OPEX.

Danieli Group will be the only company in the market capable of supplying the complete BOF shop with fully owned, proprietary technologies thanks to its several business units (Danieli Centro Crane, Danieli Centro Building, Danieli Environment, Danieli Automation, Danieli Construction), and with the Danieli’s strongest in-house manufacturing capability.
