The representatives of German state owned railways Deutsche Bahn denied the information that the operator will record loss at the end of this year.

DB's spokesperson said that the company had a profit in the first half of 2009 and the management board of Deutsche Bahn foresees that the result in the H2 should be similar.

This statement was a reply regarding the information of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. The newspaper wrote, that DB will have up to EUR 500 million loss in 2009.
