Mr John Roberts president of Dietrich Metal Framing said that "The market continues to demand code compliant products, and we will seek ICC certification as we develop new and innovative products for our customers."
Mr Bruce A Poulsen Architect and Architectural Specifier said that "With the adoption of the ICC 2006 International Building Code as the basis for the current 2007 California Building Code and the soon to be adoption of the new ICC 2009 IBC as the basis for the new 2010 CBC, it is imperative that manufacturers also have their products approved by ICC. The Division of the State Architect, Structural Safety Section, is now and will for future projects seek ICC approval on manufactured products, especially those that have Structural Safety Review."
The metal lath and trim products certified in the ICC-ES report are used to reinforce interior or exterior plaster installed in accordance with the 2003 and 2006 International Building Codes, as well as the 2003 and 2006 International Residential Codes.
