UK based refractories manufacturer, Cookson Group Plc, is expected to cut another 600 jobs in its Ceramics division, which could result in additional refractory & foundry plants closures, as part of further cost cutting measures.

Hit by the reduction in global steel production which accounts for around half of the Ceramics division’s revenue this announcement is in addition to closures initiated earlier this year.
