It is reported that LM Engineering Services Limited has been placed in administration and made 14 people redundant. It blamed the recession and the recent closure of one of its customers.
The firm, which now employs 24 people, makes a variety of steelwork products, and constructed the metal bridge at Drome Corner, Flintshire.
Mr Bill Dawson spokesman of LM Engineering said that "Unfortunately, the group has suffered as a result of the recession, and has recently been further impacted by the closure of a customer. We will continue to trade the business as a going concern whilst actively looking for a purchaser. It is with regret that we have had to make 14 employees redundant."
