Notwithstanding the good 2008 results and a relatively good 2009, Tenaris Dalmine has closed an agreement with local trade union representatives for releasing 741 workers as well as for putting many thousand other under redundancy fund procedure.

The agreement has been refused by other trade union Cobas that has announced manifestations and strikes.
