Employment not a problem for now in ILVA - Mr Ferrante
AGI reported that ILVA's president Mr Bruno Ferrante, who met with trade union secretaries at Confindustria, aid that for the moment employment at the ILVA plant does not pose a problem.
He said that "We are managing, albeit with great difficulty. When blast furnace 1 is stopped as established by the plan drafted, those employed there will be moved to other areas of the steelworks. However, should blast furnace 5, which is the heart of production for ILVA, be stopped, things would change and the situation would become more complicated."
