
Evraz Regina steel plant evacuated after bomb threat
CBC News reported that workers at the Evraz steel plant, just north of Regina, were sent home this morning after someone called in a bomb threat.
Police evacuated workers from the plant site and were investigating.
RCMP said a 911 call was received at 5:30 AM CST in which the caller said there was a bomb at the plant. The call came from a Regina pay phone.
Several hundred workers are employed at the plant, although the exact number who were sent home wasn't immediately available.
