FIM and UILM unions to remove roadblocks in ILVA dispute
AGI reported that the FIM and UILM trade unions say they are preparing to lift road blocks they set up on the Bari and Reggio Calabria regional roads.
The unions called a two day strike at the ILVA steelworks to prevent the plant's closing following the investigating magistrate's negative reaction to the company's plan.
Union representatives spoke to Taranto's prefect, Mr Claudio Sammartino, saying the roadblocks would be lifted.
