It is reported that Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan, has decided to cut the rebar list prices by TWD 200 per tonne to TWD 19,600 per tonne.

Also, the firm decided to reduce the scrap purchase prices by TWD 200 per tonne to TWD 11,700 to TWD 12,500 per tonne averagely. However, it remained the H beam list prices unchanged at TWD 21,600 to TWD 21,800 per tonne.

Dealers indicated that Feng Hsin decided to cut the rebar prices in response to weak demand.
