Feng Hsin has kept the list prices of rebar and scrap unchanged at TWD 19,800 per tonne and TWD 12,600 to TWD 13,400 per tonne respectively for this week.

However, the company decided to cut the list prices of section steel by TWD 300 per tonne to TWD 21,800 to 22,000 per tonne.

Industry sources believed that the rebar prices have been down to the bottom as Feng Hsin received more than 20,000 tonnes of rebar orders last week after the firm cut the rebar prices by TWD 500 per tonne to TWD 19,800 per tonne.
