Feng Hsin Steel, one of the major rebar mills in Taiwan, announces to drop scrap price by TWD 200 per tonne. After the price adjustment, the latest price of scrap is at TWD 13,000 to TWD 13,800 per tonne.

The company has already decreased by TWD 300 per tonne. The total price dropping level in this week is TWD 500 per tonne. Affected by the scrap drop, the rebar price might be affected and decreased by TWD 500 per tonne. It is expected that the rebar price will drop from TWD 20,200 to TWD 20,300 per tonne to TWD 19,700 to TWD 19,800 per tonne in next week.
