Reuters reported that Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has won a tender from Italy's Enel to install and maintain 104 MWs of wind energy in Romania.

The contract includes an option to supply an additional 69 turbines to the 52 2MW turbines agreed on for the two Romanian wind farms operated by Enel.

Gamesa also said that so far it has signed supply agreements with Enel for over 650 MW of wind energy.
