Gerdau to keep long steel prices unchanged till year end

Dow Jones reported that Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau does not plan to raise its long steel prices before the end of 2009.
Mr Andre Gerdau Johannpeter president of Gerdau said that "Price is market. Flat steelmakers saw an opportunity for a price increase in the distribution market, but we haven't seen one yet."
