It is reported that the H2 scrap base prices decreased again to JPY 26,500 to JPY 27,500 per tonne in the Japanese Osaka region.

It’s known that the steel mills in Osaka including Kishiwada Steel, Kyoei Steel, Kurimoto Steel and Shinkansai Steel have all cut the scrap prices by JPY 500 to JPY 1,000 per tonne from June 7th 2012.

Furthermore, Kishiwada Steel reduced the scrap prices further by JPY 500 per tonne on June 9th 2012.
