Yonhap reported that South Korea's largest shipping company Hanjin Shipping Co will acquire its first super large container ship by early July 2010 for use on its Pacific and European routes.

Industry sources said that Hanjin Shipping Co plans to start operation of a 10,000 TEU vessel by early July at the latest, which would make it the largest container ship used by a local company.
