Heartland Inc has announced that it bought 37 industrial acres in Washington Court House in Ohio and plans to build a structural steel service center. Mr Randy Frevert has been named president of the new venture Heartland Steel Inc.
With its new location, Heartland Steel intends to serve a diverse customer base with hot rolled structural steel and processing. Initial plans call for a 60,000 square foot building which will be built with the capability to easily expand to 120,000 square feet when necessary. Currently, the site has more than 500,000 square feet of industrial grade concrete floors and footings.
Heartland officials said that they are excited about the timing and location of the land acquisition as they continue on the path of a conservative, sustainable approach to growth.
