
It is reported that a Pennsylvania based company has announced plans to build a plant in the Nucor Road Industrial Corridor, providing 25 high wage jobs by 2014.
As per report, Herr Voss Stamco provides products and services to metal processing industries. Construction of its 20,000 square foot facility, near two Nucor Corporation facilities, will begin in 2012.
Mr Gary Hart president of Herr Voss Stamco said that "The qualified workforce, infrastructure and business friendly attitude of the community were important factors in our location decision."
Based on job creation plans, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the company up to USD 225,000 in conditional tax credits.
Through the www.HoosierEmployer.com website, the company will be hiring milling machine operators, boring mill operators, lathe operators, chrome plating operators and assembly fitters capable of repairing equipment and parts.
County Commissioner Mr Phil Bane said that "Ongoing infrastructure improvements and planning has increased the potential for growth in the Nucor Road Development Area, and we welcome Herr Voss to Montgomery County. They will be a great addition to our innovative steel industry cluster."
