Vietnam's largest steel producer Hoa Phat Group has posted an after tax profit of VND 802 billion over the first 7 months of 2009. The profit was equal to 89% of its full year target.

Sales reached VND 4.4 trillion, accounting for 62% of the 2009 projection.
