Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Co has announced that after the end of 2009, the total production output of Hoa Phat steel mill in Hung Yen province was estimated at 356,185 tonnes, surpassing 34.4% of the year plan and increasing by 36.4% YoY.

The mill's production capacity was posted at 29,682 tonnes per month, and working period of 21 hours per day at average, exceeding by 42% of the designed capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year.

Previously, Hoa Phat Group has announced its business results in the first 11 months of 2009 with total revenue of VND 7.23 trillion, fulfilling 101% of the year plan and profit after tax of VND 1.236 trillion, surpassing by 34%.

In 2009, the group expects to reach total revenue of VND 7.9 trillion, profit after tax of VND 1.28 trillion. The company set targets of gaining VND 11.8 trillion and VND 1.4 trillion of total revenue and profit after tax in 2010 respectively.
