Japanese automakers Honda Motor Co Limited and Toyota Motor Corporation have reported increase in production and sales of cars for the month of July 2012.

Honda's output in Japan rose by 24.9% YoY to 88,410 from 2011. The company sold 74,606 vehicles, up by 67.6% YoY. Total worldwide production of Honda rose by 67% YoY to 345,180 vehicles.

Toyota's production in Japan rose by 33% YoY to 433,801 vehicles from last year. The company sold 244,461, up by 55.1% YoY.

Total worldwide production of Toyota advanced rose by 29.4% YoY to 878,324 from 2011.
