It is reported that the Hungarian Transport Ministry will soon finish works on the project of cutting discounts for rail and bus transport.

Currently 7.5 million people use discounted tickets in Hungary, which is a huge burden for the country’s budget.

According to the government’s spokesperson, discounts for people, who are more than 65 years old and children, who are less than 6, will remain at the same level.
