
ISM's New Export Orders Index registered 52% in November, which is 2 %age points higher than the 50% reported in October. The New Export Orders Index has registered 50% or greater for the past 29 consecutive months.
The six industries reporting growth in new export orders in November listed in order are: Textile Mills; Apparel, Leather & Allied Products; Computer & Electronic Products; Fabricated Metal Products; Electrical Equipment, Appliances & Components and Food, Beverage & Tobacco Products.
The five industries reporting a decrease in new export orders during November are: Paper Products; Chemical Products; Machinery; Transportation Equipment; and Primary Metals. Six industries reported no change in exports in November compared to October.
