According to the Italian automotive industry association, Italy's new car registrations amounted to 109,178 units in September 2012, down by 25.7% YoY.
In the first nine months of 2012, the Italian new car registration figure totaled 1,090,627 units, down by 20.5% YoY.
Commenting on the September 2012 figure, Mr Roberto Vavassori president of Anfia said that "This is the 10th consecutive double digit year on year decrease.
