According to the statistics released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai, Italy's steel imports reached 15.28 million tonnes in the first 10 months of 2011, increasing by 9.8% YoY, while its steel exports totaled 14.39 million tonnes, up by 12.7% YoY.
