JMC Steel Group Inc plans to bring 50 people from its corporate offices in Beachwood to the 26th floor of the former AT&T Corporate Center, at 227 W. Monroe St.

The Community Development Commission in Chicago was to consider a proposal for the city to provide USD 1.1 million in tax increment financing to help pay for the construction of JMC's offices, the sources say.

JMC will occupy 29,000 square feet in the former AT&T building, a 60 story, 1.6 million square foot tower now known as Franklin Center.
