Yonhap reported that South Korean importer of the luxury car brand Jaguar will recall 18 passenger vehicles sold in South Korea due to manufacturing defects.
The transportation ministry said that subject to the recall are the imported Jaguar XF and XK models produced between January 14th 2009 and November 28th 2009.
The recall was issued to repair a defective part in the fuel pump that could cause engine failure in the worst case.
The ministry said that owners of the cars can get free repairs at Jaguar Land Rover Korea service centers starting August 23rd 2010.
