Japanese H beam prices fell on high inventory
Reportedly, most of H beam makers in Japan have still continued enhancing output recently, in spite of Nippon Steel's production reduction.
According to statistics, Japan's H beam stocks have surged again to reach 196,000 tonnes in end of June 2012, rising by 1,400 tonnes from a month earlier, causing the H beam prices fall in Japanese market.
At present, the selling prices of H beam in Tokyo market are at JPY 69,000 to JPY 70,000 per tonne, decreasing by JPY 3,000 per tonne from a month earlier.
