Nikkei reported that Kobe Steel Limited is increasing production of automotive spring materials at a plant in China's Guangdong province in response to growing demand from Japanese carmakers seeking to tap the country's burgeoning auto market.

As per report, the company will raise output of materials used in suspension springs that support automobiles. The materials are produced at Kobe Wire Products.
