LNG carrier LNG Benue from Nigeria enters Ogishima port

According the latest information about estimated time of arrival of LNG carriers, LNG Benue, which has been put into operations for Nigeria LNG Project, came into Ogishima port in Tokyo Bay on December 18th 2011. Meanwhile, an another shipping information says that Clean Force and LNG Leo, that seem to have sailed from Atlantic Basin, arrived at Tobata port in the southern part of Japan in Kyushu.

During a week from December 17th 2011 to December 23rd 2011, total 15 vessels are scheduled to enter Tokyo Bay where Tokyo Electric Power Company and Tokyo Gas Co Ltd have LNG terminals. Besides the above mentioned LNG Benue, all the other LNG carriers such as Explorer and Salalah LNG seem to have departed from ports in Australia, Malaysia, Brunei, Russia and Indonesia.

During the period, total four ships, consisting of two from Qatar and one each from Indonesia and Russia, are expected to sail into Yokkaichi and Nagoya.

At Himeji port, two vessels from Malaysia are to arrive around December 18th 2011 and December 20th 2011, one of which is "British Emerald" operated by UK's BP.

On the other hand, according to another vessel voyage information, Clean Force reached Tobata port on December 11th 2011. There is also information that LNG Leo, which is said to have entered the port around December 16th 2011, has carried LNG cargo, which was re-exported from Spain.

The other tankers like Methane Lydon Volney and Methane Julia Louise used by UK's BG are said to be currently on the way to Asia.
