It is reported that an explosion took place in night at around 21:45 PM in the department of the factory converters at Lucchini Piombino injuring one worker.

As per report, while charging the converter some moisture created an explosion and the shock wave knocked the crane operator of ladle crane.

The worker was injured and was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Villamarina but was discharged in the evening.
