A major European mill has announced intention to increase HRC basis price by Euro 60 per tonne starting from 1st June.

This increase would bring basis price close to Euro per tonne. Although market is in disbelief it has certainly raised aspiratons.

Meanwhile HRC P&O booked in North Europe at around Euro 590 - 600 per tonne DDP.
