This is Scunthorpe reported that Scunthorpe fire crews were called to an incident involving molten metal at the Tata steelworks in the town on Tuesday Feb 26.

It happened shortly after 5pm and was centred on a torpedo ladle.

Humberside Fire and Rescue service estimated the amount of metal involved to be 20 tonnes.
