The reopening has been marked by important price increases on all products. Last week, news from all quarters indicated a positive mood among steel makers in Europe who hiked their prices for most of the products
Italian beams producers have increased prices up to Euro 620 to 630 per tonne effective.
In Italy steel mills have hiked price as under
HRC - By EUR 30 per tonne
HDG - By EUR 60 per tonne to EUR 70 per tonne
HRP - By EUR 30 per tonne to EUR 40 per tonne
However the trend seems to be on the descent.
Market reports are indicating a major trading co. having booked HRP in Spain at a price of EUR 540 per tonne to EUR 570 per tonne CFR FO Bilbao respectively for S275JR and S355J2+N.
