Steel prices continued to decline across Europe last week.
Due to different reasons of economic, social and politic nature, there are very few buyers eventually available to consider s purchase and in any case not at the demanded price.
HRC price in Italy is under heavy pressure loosing ground basically on daily basis. Last information is indicating that prices have apparently broken the EUR 450 per tonne basis parity level and are edging down to EUR 400 per tonne for orders of important quantities. On the same track both CR and HDG base price is going in direction of EUR 500 per tonne parity and even less. Also extras are heavily discounted or, in some cases, not even applied.
