Indian domestic scarp prices continued to weaken on sliding long product prices or vice versa. The low levels of prices and demand for alternate input material sponge iron is further driving down domestic scrap prices in India.
However, import offers continued to be at about USD 300 per tonne to USD 310 per tonne CFR India levels with scant levels of transactions.
