Scrap price in Italy has reached the bottom with levels reaching EUR 270 per tonne to EUR 280 per tonne for category E1 / E3.
Levels are likely to go up with Turkey opening.
It is reported that recently some quantity has been booked at prices ranging USD 410 per tonne to USD 420 per tonne CFR FO. Considering USD 27 per tonne freight it comes USD 393 per tonne FOB or EUR 290 per tonne which is better than domestic market.
