It is reported that Namisa, a JV between the Brazilian Companhia Siderurgica Nacional, Japanese Nippon Steel and Sumitomo, planned to start its second pellet plant in the first quarter of 2016.

Namisa expected to enhance its iron ore production to 33 million tonnes by 2016.

Meanwhile, the firm owns Engenho mine in Congonhas, Fernandinho mine in Itabirito and a beneficiating plant in Pires.
