Outotec's board of directors has decided on the following changes to Outotec executive board effective on October 1st 2011:

Mr Robin Lindahl has been appointed EVP Market Operations and member of the executive board. He will succeed in the position and as a member of the executive board Mr Martti Haario, who assumes the position of SVP Americas Market Region. Mr Robin Lindahl transfers to Outotec from Nokia Corporation where he last was responsible for Sales and Marketing to Network Operators globally.

In addition, Mr Kari Knuutila, currently chief technology officer of Outotec, has been appointed member of the executive board.

Mr Pertti Korhonen president & CEO of Outotec said that "With these changes we aim at developing our global operations to address the future opportunities by strengthening our marketing, sales and customer relationship management capabilities, and by further strengthening the development and management of our technology assets.
