It is reported that Pacific Gas & Electric Co has entered into a long term agreement with Sempra Generation subsidiary El Dorado Energy to purchase 10 MW of photovoltaic solar energy from the El Dorado Energy solar facility in Nevada.

As per report, power deliveries to PG&E are expected to begin by January 1st 2009. The project will generate up to 23.2 gigawatts hours of renewable energy annually. The El Dorado facility is Sempra's first solar project to come online.
