
Local media has reported that ArcelorMittal Steel is considering postponing the temporary extinction of one of the two blast furnaces at Dabrowa in Poland.
But the decision in this matter should be expected in the coming days.
In October 2011, ArcelorMittal Poland had announced its intention to temporarily quench furnace, explaining that fewer orders. Originally the BF was to be extinguished by the end of November 2011 and restarted in spring.
As per report ArcelorMittal has three blast furnaces in Poland, two in Dąbrowa and one in Krakow and accouts for more than two thirds of production capacity of Polish steel industry.
