It is reported that Taiwan’s scrap prices have plunged in line with dropping scrap prices in the global market.

Turkish market remains quiet and American scrap price keeps on decreasing. Japanese Tokyo Steel has cut its scrap purchasing prices again by JPY 2,000 to JPY 3,000 per tonne.

Therefore, some enterprises in Taiwan forecasts that if the scrap price continuously decreases, scarp prices will lower than TWD 10,000 per tonne soon.
