Reuters reported that Thailand's Siam Cement Pcl expects 2011 sales of petrochemical unit to rise 20% from a year earlier due to rising capacity.

Mr Cholanut Yanaranop head of Siam Cement's petrochemical business told reporters that "It expects second half prices of main products like ethylene and propylene to be higher than the first half thanks to rising demand from China."
