Sinochem International Co Ltd, a unit of China's largest coke exporter Sinochem Corp, said it has signed an agreement to sell 270,000 tons of coke to US Steel Corp this year without disclosing the price.

“The deal signals a big step forward for Sinochem to increase its presence in the international coke market,' said Mr Li Hongwei, Sinochem's VP.
