ArcelorMittal has warned that growth in the industry will be slow and progressive as the world's economy and interest in the industry picks up.

It may be noted that steel makers across the globe have begun to restart some of the capacity they idled during the global economic downturn, as order intakes improve, a move some industry participants see as premature.

Mr LN Mittal CEO of ArcelorMittal said that he expected a progressive recovery.
