Slowdown signs - Port Klang sticks to 10pct throughput decline target
It is reported that Port Klang Authority maintains its target of a 10% decline in container throughput this year, despite seeing a much worse 15.4% fall in the first half of the year.
Northport (Malaysia) and Westports Malaysia collectively handled 7.9 million TEUs in 2008.
Mr Kee Lian Yong GM of PKA said that this is due to the improved container throughput numbers that the ports in Port Klang have been seeing in the last two months.
