Slowdown signs - Romanian new car registration in Oct down by 69pct

According to European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, Romania's car market has continued its slump.
New car registrations in Romania plummeted 69.1% in October 2009 to 7,572 units as compared to 24,474 units in October 2008.
Meanwhile, new car registrations in the European Union car market was a whole were up by 11.6% in October to 1.23 million units as compared with 1.1 million units in October 2008.
