According to Automotive Manufacturers & Importers Association figure, Romanian new car sales fell by 5.8% MoM to 9,781 units in November 2009, after an 11% increase in October.

From January to November 2009, new car sales slumped by 52.7% YoY to 121,931. Romania's overall vehicle sales, including cars, commercial vehicles and buses, dropped by 55.3% YoY to 138,104 in the first 11 months of 2009.

In November alone, car sales fell by 4.4% MoM to 11,498.

In 2008, new car sales in Romania declined by 11.7% YoY to 324,080.
